President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, on Tuesday, led members of the Senate to a birthday lecture and book launch, to mark the 60th Birthday Anniversary of the Senate Leader, Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, in Abuja.

He eulogized the sterling qualities of the Ekiti State Lawyer and Lawmaker, such as his unalloyed and untainted loyalty to his Mentor and Leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Akpabio charged upcoming politicians to  emulate the Senate Leader, who was first and foremost, a loyal follower and disciple of the Tinubu school of politics, which has led to who he is today in Nigeria.

The President of the Senate also described Senator Bamidele an ally, a committed and loyal member of the APC and leadership of the Senate.

In remarks Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji lauded Senator Bamidele’s remarkable achievements and leadership qualities.

He emphasised the importance of effective communication in governance and commended the celebrant for his dedication to this vital aspect of leadership in the country.

The occasion was attended by members of the National Assembly, led by the Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji, former Governors Niyi Adebayo, Ny b  besom Wike, Traditional rulers including the Ewi Of Ado Ekiti Oba Rufus Adejugbe and the Oluyin Oba Adeniyi Ajakaiye among others.
