Bamidele said,” I stand to add my voice to this bill, we just listen to substantive CJN and even from short analysis nthat he gave in response to the question from one of our colleagues, Senator Suswan, it’s obvious that there is need for the National Assembly to support Judiciary on the need reduce the cases in the duckets of Federal High Court.

” The Federal High Court is one court that unified everybody , when we talked about the number, we might agree on the number that can be shared among 36 states and Federal Capital Territory (FCT). But, I don’t think the number needs to increase to 185.

” What is important is that every state must be included , on the doctrine of Federal Character in Judiciary, this will take care  the issue of lopesisdedness that is currently exist with some states having as much as four judges in Federal.High Court while some have only one while some don’t have at all.

” Hardly you will see any judge presiding over case in his state of origin , once you are appointed, you are.moved to any part of the country.”
