Senator Bamidele Empowered Physically Challenged Persons in Ekiti

Chairman, Senate Committee on Judiciary, Human Rights and Legal Matters, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele has splashed Multi Million Naira empowerment to the physically challenged persons in Ekiti Central Senatorial district.

This was made known in statement issued by Senator Bamidele’s media office.

Bamidele while speaking during the event organized for the physically challenged Persons in the Ekiti Central Senatorial district said that the real physically challenged Persons are the leaders who are deaf to the yearnings of the citizens and who are  blinds to see the need of the people in the society .

He added that the empowerment for the Physically challenged Persons is across party line that is the reason he approached their  associations to collect names not political party which he belongs to.

Bamidele said, ” God has a purpose for the conditions of the physically challenged and actual fact the physically challenged are the real physically challenged,  to me the Physically challenged that are blind , dear and dumb to yearnings of the people in the society.”

” The leaders who have eyes to see and ears to hear but refuse to see the need to ensure the welfare of the people in terms of gainful employment, financial empowerment and provisions of others assistance in the society.”

Bamidele who donated N250,000 each to the four associations  of the Physically challenged which includes Association of People living with Albinism, Deaf and Dumb Association, Blind Association and Physically challenged Association.

He  also made cash donations of about N50,000 to about 58 physically challenged and 25 wheel chairs with N10,000 each to the beneficiary that were present at the event which was held at his campaign office in Ado- Ekiti, Ekiti state.

Speaking earlier, the Chairman, Ekiti State Agency for Persons Living with Disability, Akin Obanise applauded Senator Bamidele for his consistency to the plight of the less privilege in the Ekiti state.

He implored Senator Bamidele to tell other lawmakers to help the Physically to in the state acknowledging the impact of skills acquisition programmes organized by Senator Bamidele for the physically challenged Persons in the Ekiti Central
